ARK ENCOUNTER TOUR
June 6 – 9, 2023
ITINERARY
Day 1: Your trip starts off on a deluxe motorcoach ride from Leesburg, Florida to Lagrange, Georgia where we will stop at the Biblical History Center. We will experience the Empty Tomb Tour, which provides a historically accurate walkthrough of Holy Week featuring actual artifacts from the time, full-scale reconstructions of structures relevant to daily life, access to a tomb similar to the one in which Jesus was buried, and more. After the Biblical History Center, we will stop for dinner at a local chain restaurant. We will continue our motorcoach drive to Dalton, Georgia where we will spend the night at Country Inn and Suites.
Day 2: We will start today with breakfast at our hotel before departing to the Ark Encounter, a full-size Noah’s Ark, built according to the dimensions given in the Bible. Spanning 510 feet long, 85 feet wide, and 51 feet high, this modern engineering marvel amazes visitors young and old. Lunch will be on your own at the Ark Encounter. After an afternoon at the Ark Encounter we will have stop for a sit-down dinner at Kellie’s Homestead Restaurant before continuing to the Baymont Inn & Suites Lawrenceburg where we will spend the night.
Day 3: Today will start with breakfast at the hotel before we visit the Creation Museum where Bible history comes to life! This family-friendly attraction near Cincinnati explores creation science with stunning exhibits, dinosaur bones, fossils, botanical gardens, a planetarium, zoo, zip line course, and more. Lunch will be on your own at the Creation Museum. After lunch we will board our motorcoach and start our journey back home. We will stop at a national chain restaurant for dinner and then continue to Smyrna, Georgia where we will spend the night at the Comfort Inn & Suites Galleria.
Day 4: Start today with breakfast at the hotel and then board our motorcoach for the final day of our trip. We will stop along the way for lunch at a fast-food chain restaurant. After lunch we will continue our drive, getting into Leesburg mid to late afternoon.
